Lacey is the protagonist and titular character of the Lacey Games series.
Personality
From her about page on laceygames.com: "Lacey is a fun loving girl who loves a good adventure! She can be a bit of an airhead sometimes, but she's very determined and had lots of friends! She really likes fashion and to listen to all her favourite songs in her MP3 player!"
Throughout the episode, Lacey is shown to have low self-esteem and a traumatic past.
Appearances
Lacey is seen in Lacey's Wardrobe, Lacey's Diner as a cook, Lacey's Petshop as an animal carer and Lacey's Makeup Parlour as a make-up artist.
Plot
Spoilers Ahead!
In Lacey's Wardrobe, Lacey is being followed around by a stalker, who calls her house and eventually shows up at her door. He kills her, and eats her remains so they can be "together forever". The stalker only appears in Lacey's Wardrobe, and there is much debate surrounding the game's placement in the timeline.
Lacey's Diner and Lacey's Petshop focus on Lacey's past trauma and her uncle. Lacey's Diner starts with Lacey running a diner, but quickly devolves into her expressing her extreme frustration with herself and her work. She plans to get back at the customers by cooking parts of her trauma into her food. This reveals her trauma surrounding sexual abuse, drug use, and living in poor conditions. It also reveals her abuser: her uncle. The game ends with Lacey committing suicide after having nothing left.
Lacey's Petshop delves further into this. Starting off with Lacey running a pet shop, the requests of the customers quickly turn grim, until the 7th animal appears: a dog with a distorted face. This leads into seeing Lacey's childhood home and learning about her pet dog, Puddles. Lacey's uncle killed Puddles, which was the last straw for her. Lacey kills her uncle and hides his body under her bed. The game ends with Lacey burning herself and her uncle's house to the ground. The interview before and after the gameplay with Grace Asop also gives Lacey a connection to Rocío Yani.
Lacey's Makeup Parlour portrays the loss of Jay. In Lacey's Makeup Parlour, Lacey will receive clients (probably acquaintances of hers) to do their makeup, but the game begins to distort a little on the 3rd client Lacey serves, having her face melted and then repaired by the player. The same error will occur with other clients, such as maggots entering from places on the screen, the clients' eyes opening and other bizarre things. When the next customer is Jay, the game starts to distort, cutting to Lacey lying on the floor of the morgue from where she was, repeating that Jay needed to be fixed and that she just needed a bit of make-up, revealing Jay's dead body.
